~ ∞ ~ Quantum Nonlocality - The Nature of Time - Awaken the Living Awareness Within ~ ∞ ~

In the previous chapters, we explored the mysteries of the Quantum World, and learned something about the phenomenon of Quantum Entanglement, which brought us quite nicely to something called Quantum Nonlocality, which in turn brings us now to the very nature of time itself. It is impossible to talk about time without referring to the laws of nature, or scientific laws – which are statements based on repeated experiments or observations, that describe or predict a range of natural phenomena.

And so it goes that all the mysteries physicists and cosmologists face, from the “Big Bang” to the future of our universe, from the puzzles of quantum physics to the unification of the forces and particles – eventually come down to the nature of time. That is to say, it seems that time appears to be the key to the meaning of quantum theory and its eventual unification with space, time, gravity, and cosmology; and because time seems to be the key, equating to life – as we come to see later, it links both time and life to consciousness and its inherent awareness.

In this context, it is once again worth mentioning that beyond the surface, there is yet another, more important component, that of consciousness and its inherent awareness, you see? The importance of it should have become clear by now, but if it hasn’t, it should. Not only because they play an essential role in the aforementioned unification, but also because the coming new synthesis of science, ancient mysticism and spirituality recognizes matter and Spirit to be one unified energy in different stages of manifestation – awareness being the core of it all, matter being its manifestation in physical reality, and consciousness the medium against which and through which we perceive and measure time.

And so you see, just as we are now discovering that consciousness is distributed through every cell of the body, soon we may discover that it is distributed in every photon or particle of light throughout the universe – making it essential to incorporate consciousness and its inherent awareness as the cornerstone of this new science. Hence, it goes without saying that if we hope to someday master the mysteries of the universe, including not only the Quantum World, but also the nature of time, we would need to include consciousness and its inherent awareness to the equation.

Time as we know time to exist, is, in many ways, a construct, a tool by which we make sense of the events that occur in our lives. Together with another tool, that of storytelling, we can communicate not only about daily events, but also more complex topics that are essential for our growth, development and evolvement as human beings.

Many have treated time as an illusion – and yet, they do age – quite a dichotomy, don’t you think? It is evident that time is very much real, isn’t it? So, what is this thing we call time – this thing we so easily waste yet never have enough of? Is it really a thing? We cannot hold it in our hands, nor see it with our eyes – it is completely intangible, yet extraordinarily real.

Now, what is time, exactly? Time is something that is very much intangible, often thought to be non-recurring, unstoppable and unpreserved. Hence, time is considered by many to be one of the most valued commodities in life, and hence time is something that most people don’t want to waste. Therefore, it can be said that the greatest gift we can give to someone – is our time. You see, when we give our time, we are giving away a portion of our life that we will never get back.

Yet, people tend to value money over time, until time is almost up; always rushing from one thing to another with the mantra: “time is money,” and yet constantly searching for more time, complaining about working too hard. There is not only irony here, but also an astonishing dichotomy, don’t you think?

In our culture, we have viewed time as the ‘thing’ that we must work against, or works against us, which goes on to say that we are in competition with time. This, in turn, has led to excessive time management, which means that people are always in hurry; rushing everywhere all the time. There is a downside to this kind of excessive time management, for you see, the quality of life decreases when life is full of hurry.

Individuals who are obsessed with time, more often than not, get stressed and uptight; it is not unsurprising, then, that these individuals also seem to be the ones who fear death more than anything else. The truth is, though, that not every minute of every day can always be planned – sometimes we just have to go with the flow, you see? And this brings us to the nature of time itself.

When we are talking about the nature of time, we can realize that time has traditionally been misunderstood to be a purely physical phenomena, and therefore we generally see it as a continuum; and hence it goes that time is understood to be a perception of movement and seen as an arrow, moving on a single straight line – from the past to the future. This is the way in which we as the collective human species have agreed to view time, but it could very well be the other way around, as well – time moving from the future into the past, you see?

Further examination reveals that from the human perspective, time seems to be moving in a linear fashion. In other words, something happens in sequence – series of events taking place in space. This is how we have agreed to perceive reality, but how would you know if the event you are experiencing and witnessing to take place was actually set in motion in the future?

Because of the way in which we humans have used to perceive time, we like to translate time into blocks for our convenience – these blocks are treated as a triplet: past, present, future. This means that time is considered to be a purely one dimensional phenomenon – a continuum, consisting of a past, a future, and with the present as the boundary between the two. The way in which we view time can most certainly be useful in our daily lives, but it is reasonable to ask ourselves: Is it an accurate view? Could it be possible that in much the same way as life is cyclical, so is time?

And if time is indeed cyclical, would it not then mean that every action truly has its reaction, in both ways – not only the past and the present affecting the future, but also the future affecting both the present and the past – see? Every choice we make has its affect on the future whose particular nature we cannot foresee – everything and everyone is interconnected, and therefore every action affects the whole and vice versa; and so it goes that in this sense, we are the sum of our choices, you see? Indeed, everything we do has a ripple effect on everything else – every action activates a cause, which in turn triggers an effect.

As both life and time are cyclical, it means that the future affects the past as much as the past affects the future – this happens only if a certain condition is met. You see, the energy signature of the past or the future must be stronger than your present for it to manifest in such a way that it can be said to be a change – eventually, it all comes down to free will and how strong our will is. This goes on to say that the present moment is the Nexus Point in which the choice is made, and its effects are felt and experienced; it is the Nexus Point from which the ripples of that choice travel through time.

Here it is important to remember that change can be initiated in any of these points we term as past, present, future; but it is always the present in which change is experienced, you see? If one utilizes their free will to initiate a conscious transformation – self-directed, mindful process of self-exploration that can transform one’s life – one changes not only their past, but also their future; one changes their history, their story – if you will, their whole being – becoming a whole new person.

The aforementioned brings us inexorably here – to make the following conclusion: our universe appears to be bound by a finite set of laws – or so do we think, despite any evidence to prove it to be so. Due to scientific materialism, we believe and assume that all phenomena in the universe, including time, is governed by these “eternal laws,” and that all phenomena are subject to the same physical laws, which can be discovered by the means of systematic observation and experimentation.

This goes a long way to demonstrating how deep our willful blindness and ignorance of the obvious really goes. Here we should ask ourselves: Are these so called “eternal laws” of nature really set, or could it be possible that they are still evolving? Who are we to say that the laws of nature are fixed? It doesn’t take a genius to understand that if the universe is expanding and evolving, then also the laws of nature may be evolving as well.

When we take the previous into consideration, the very idea of the laws of nature may not even be appropriate – it may be better to think of the evolving patterns of nature; self-organizing patterns through which the Living Intelligence of Life expresses itself – constantly finding the best and the most efficient ways for life to grow, flourish and thrive. It is, after all, the very nature of life to intelligently seek to expand, develop and unfold – often in surprising and novel ways, is it not?

In other words, out of chaos comes order, and out of randomness emerges beauty, structure and form. What we humans perceive as randomness, may instead reflect a degree of complexity of order that we have yet to decode in understandable form; what we classify as being mere randomness, may indeed be Intelligence so far beyond our current level of understanding and comprehension that we disregard it altogether. This goes a long way to show that also time may be something that we have only scratched the surface of – something deeper, something more profound, you see?

Against this backdrop, we should ask ourselves: Could it actually be possible that we have viewed time wrongly all of these years? Could it also be that time as we know time to exist, may actually be life itself? You see, because of the simultaneous nature of life – time may actually equate to life in a multidimensional fashion, and therefore time may not be separable from life itself. And because we have separated time and life from each other, we age? Let us end this chapter with the following question: What would life be like if we could live our lives without obsessing about time?

~ ∞ ~ Towards an Era of Transformation 1/2 - Awaken the Living Awareness Within ~ ∞ ~

In the following few pages, we will take a look at some of the underlying issues that are causing problems in our world today. A contrasting perspective is provided in later chapters, namely “The Emergence of a New Vision,” “Ancient Wisdom Resurfaces,” and “Metaphysical Paradigm Shift,” respectively. To someone who subscribes to a consensus view of reality, the contrast may be immense, enormous, or even monumental.

In that case, the rest of the book might have a whole lot of nothing to say – unless, of course, such people are ready to transcend their views and beliefs and consider other approaches and points of view. You see, without transcending our beliefs we will never be free from the ignorance of dogma that separates us from universal wisdom.

The goal here is to share paradigm shifting ideas that can open up the doors of perception by breaking down old patterns, which in turn can create new pathways of thinking and seeing, living and being, doing and acting – this is the whole purpose of this work, after all.

It goes without saying that one doesn’t need to be especially observant or to have a keen eye for detail to see that we live in times of profound transformation marked by a crisis of sustainability – this and many other related processes together will have a lasting impact on every aspect of our lives.

And so it goes that at this critical juncture in human history, we find ourselves at a crossroads – a point of no return, where a decision is made to either continue our old ways, repeating our past mistakes – plunging deeper into confusion, disillusion, and ignorance, and eventually – into oblivion, or to take the critical first step towards the process of adaptation, change, and transformation.

Against this backdrop, it is clear that this juncture is a time in which there is an ending of one age, and the beginning of another, which goes on to say that in all areas of society, there will be a new beginning – such is the nature of transformation, you see?

By virtue of the aforementioned with regard to ongoing transformation, it can be said that at the moment we are going through something we don’t have words for, and we point to the nameless experience by saying, “it is like this, and it is like that.” Only afterwards, when all is said and done, when a new metaphor is created, can we name similarities that make the metaphor work, and then generalize these similarities into concepts that describe our experience.

At best, this nameless experience can be a great transformation, or conscious transformation – a renaissance of humanity, if you will; at worst, it can be a messy decline of humanity into a hopeless void of disorder and chaos.

As obvious as the crisis of sustainability, so is the case with the current system we have in place. Indeed, there is no doubt about it, the current system we have in place is in full decay – it is on its last legs, simply because it depends heavily on finite resources, and hence it would be an understatement to say that infinite economic growth on a finite Earth is the epitome of unsustainability.

As a consequence, a centuries old modern industrial world is coming to an end and a new world is being born. An optimist would say that this may be a blessing in disguise, for we can see that a new world is being born from the ashes of the old. Another way to look at this is to say that the world itself will change as the people on Earth themselves change. There are changes taking place at all levels of society in the world, are there not?

Indeed, there are changes happening from education, to medical advancements, to political changes, to weather alterations, to religious and spiritual understandings, to the philosophies, to the theologies, to the social status of individuals, to the supply and demand of goods and services – all are changing. In what direction will these changes move us, forward or backward, for better or for worse – is entirely up to each and every one of us, is it not?

Considering all the aforementioned, it is against this backdrop that we can arrive at the following conclusion: it has never been more clear than now, in the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century: we as the collective human species are in dire need of conscious transformation. There has been a great transformation brewing under the surface for a quite some time, ready to burst wide open with the full force and might when the time is ripe, which goes on to say that such transformation is long overdue.

It always requires the will of the people and concerted effort to move toward something new, to initiate a shift in perspective, which in turn can lead to a conscious transformation of both the self and the world, you see? As this shift continues to gain momentum, much that we now take for granted in the world will be irrevocably transformed – for better or for worse, we shall see in due time. In what direction will this shift move us – is entirely up to each and every one of us.

Over the course of the last decade, preliminary signs of the beginning of such transformation were seen in almost every area of life, most of which were the symptoms of a crisis much bigger than we can imagine – for the simple reason that in order to conjure up reasonable solutions to the problems we face, humans as we know humans, seem to need to go through processes of struggle, contestation, conflict, and reconciliation – which in turn gives room for more mature approaches.

Granted, some of these preliminary signs were also strides toward better ways of doing things, toward sustainable living, toward a better future – but for the obvious reasons, such strides belong to the minority – at least for the time being.

Unfortunately, humans, as we know humans today, are particularly good at putting off the inevitable, and so it goes that ripples get bigger and bigger each generation, crisis gets ever more severe, struggle gets more intense, and conflict gets more widespread – until such time when either civilization destroys itself or consciously decides to evolve. This goes on to say that there is yet much more to surface, a lot more crisis to overcome, and much more processes to go through before the deeper aspects of the transformation begins to take form.

The question facing humanity at this critical juncture in human history – a time of convergence, a turning of the tides, is whether we will embrace our inherent unity, interconnectedness, and interdependence as a species and self-consciously adapt to the new conditions of our existence, or whether we will cling to inherent patterns of belief and behavior that are driven by ignorance and hubris – and learn the lessons of interdependence the hard way, through the deepening social and ecological consequences of a failure to adapt, change and transform.

This process implies not only the change and transformation of the individuals, but also the structure of society that will reflect the underlying principle, or truth, of the oneness of humanity. This principle entails the emergence of a consciousness that recognizes and acknowledges this oneness, which in turn establishes equality between all people, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, nationality, language, and culture, you see?

Considering all the aforementioned, one should be inclined to ask the following question: Why is it that we are in the midst of this crisis in almost every area of life? Could it be that we as the collective human species have been suffering from a certain level of self-pride and arrogance, or more aptly – hubris of monumental proportions? Could it also be that this type of behavior has caused us to deteriorate and fragment from within?

Now, let me ask you this: Is it not obvious that we are, indeed, suffering from a disease that is eating us from within – a spiritual disease of immorality and inhumanness, inauthenticity and insincerity? Against this backdrop, one should be asking themselves: Could it also be that all of our past actions of ignorant nature has ultimately caused us to distance ourselves from the natural Living Life, which in turn has created profound difficulties in understanding the Mysteries of Life?

Shifting into the Parallel World - Author: Sambodhi Padmasamadhi, Infinite Quantum Zen: The Book of Lucid Living – Discover The Keys to Happiness, Inner Peace & Harmony

~ Parallel Worlds ~
~ ∞ ~
So now, when we utilize the previous understanding to formulate a practical example of us shifting into a parallel world, we would find that the reality would be such that instead of many versions of us, there would only be one conscious individuated entity subjectively experiencing the world. This is because Living Life in itself is Self-Conscious & Self-Aware Intelligence in its own right; meaning that the primary substance of the universe is that of Living Awareness (observer | subject), which in turn creates Living Consciousness (observed | object) through which we perceive the world and our reality.

Due to this inherent Natural Intelligence within all Living Life, there is always Quantum Entanglement (superposition) between those two (subject, object | observer, observed). Therefore, when one shifts into a parallel world, the physical properties of those entangled particles correlate, and because the entangled particles are never detected in more than one place due to a collapsing of a wave function, the potentiality of multiple versions of us – is being actualized into reality right there and then, you see? To where the focused attention is placed, would be the location where the potential is being actualized into reality, which goes on to say that the world around us may be different, but the individuated version of us would still be the same. In other words, the focus of one’s awareness is shifted from one universe to the next, and the reality corresponds accordingly – see?

That is to say, it’s not like you would be in a simulated computer environment or a video game with multiple copies or alterations of yourself (avatars), but rather you as an extension and inseparable part of Living Life, as an eternal observer (Living Awareness) are consciously changing the focus point of your attention to another place entirely; at the very moment this happens, you immediately exist as a living and breathing individuated human being in that reality/world to where the focus has been placed. This means that there wouldn’t be such a thing as the “other version of you” in that parallel world, because the potential of you existing in that particular world is being actualized into reality (collapsing of the wave function) by the act of observation (you being there).

From the previous example, we can learn that various traditional views and interpretations of “many worlds” are helpful only in theory but not in practice; we can also learn that the spiritual aspect is an integral part of the whole that cannot be ignored if the nature of reality and life is to be understood thoroughly.

Infinite Fractal of Creation 2 of 2, The Book of zen awareness mindfulness key to happiness
~ ∞ ~ Infinite Fractal of Creation 2/2 - Awaken the Living Awareness Within ~ ∞ ~

The individuated experience of life is perceived through this ever-fluid motion that creates the perception of time, and yet, on a deeper level, time isn’t separable from life itself, for you see, life creates time as it moves, and time creates space for life to happen. Beneath the surface of seemingly fixed material objects in a linear river of time, there is the reality in which energy swirls into form, dissolves and coalesces once again.

All this multiplicity and diversity of life is One Unity, One Divinity – emanating, evolving, converting and re-absorbing itself; creating and preserving, destroying and re-generating itself; the Self, by itself, knowing itself, separating from itself, and transcending itself. As the waves of energy dance and electrons pulsate in and out of existence – new expressions of Living Life is constantly being created.

Indeed, when science goes down to the very core of even the most solid-looking object – separateness dissolves, and all that remains are a set of relationships, revealing a deeper level of reality – interconnectedness of all things; meaning that everything connects to everything else and nothing is separate from the whole.

You see, more than a century ago, it was realized that atoms were largely empty space, and with the advent of quantum theory it was realized that even sub-atomic particles were far from being the solid “particles” we had imagined them to be. Physicists are now able to see and verify through scientific means that matter appears to be both waves of potential non-physical energy and small solid basic building blocks (particles) simultaneously.

In other words, Quantum Physics tells us that the particles themselves exist in many different states simultaneously. In this context, this empty space within atoms is in fact unmanifested infinite potential, holding consciousness in and of itself. Within this emptiness there is unfathomable power – a whole web of information, consciousness, and energy – connecting all things together, you see?

When we dive even deeper, we find subatomic particles – the building blocks of life in a quantum level; within these subatomic particles, there is motion in a form of radiation, i.e., energy vibration. So from the previous, it becomes evident that everything is actually moving and vibrating energy – and there goes the so-called “physicality” out of the window.

Indeed, if one would take a closer look, they would find that the reality we inhabit and believe to be solid, material, dense, and physical, surely seems to be an illusion created by our own senses; an outside reflection from the Innerverse – a reflection that is very much real and tangible.

Everyday reality, therefore, including our minds and bodies, and even the universe – is a human construct (idea) – interpretation of consciousness to itself, as a result of its experiences which are fundamental excitations of consciousness itself. This surely suggests that matter is, indeed, purely made out of different energy vibrations in different configurations, doesn’t it?

By virtue of the aforementioned with regard to the Unity of Life, it can be noted that life originates from, and eventually returns to, the so-called Omega Point, which is a distinct center radiating at the core of a system of centers, i.e., a supreme autonomous focus of union. This point is the state of complex unity toward which everything is developing.

So now, then, to further understand this, let us “flip the script” for a moment and consider a different kind of approach than what we are accustomed to. For the sake of simplicity, let us use linear terms and associate the term “future” with the Omega Point, the point at which all life is realized as One.

So now, then, if we consider life to be a living, breathing and vibrating natural holofractographic projection from the “future,” which is meant to be experienced in the “past” as subjectively perceived reality – we would eventually arrive at the conclusion that at the very core of our being – we are eternal, and that the death is the biggest illusion there is – this is much larger topic which will be explored more in the section LIFE.

To stretch this even further, it can be said that the individuated experience of life could very well be seen as a form of simulacra, in which the existence simulates the possibility of limitation, separation, and ultimately, its crescendo – that of death, where the individuated, finite expression of life is revealed to be part of a larger whole, to be part of the continuity that transcends all concepts and definitions.

In this type of simulation, everything would appear to be separate things, but in the very core, would be interconnected expressions of the one and the same consciousness – being the by-product of its own awareness of itself. Thus, everything one would perceive in their subjective reality would be an extension of the One Unity, One Divinity – in its many emanations and expressions – a mirror of sorts, you see?

The ancient wisdom traditions in all corners of the Earth have also taught that the world is like a mirror – an extension of ourselves, reflecting everything that is happening on a higher realm or on the deeper levels of reality, you see? So clearly, in this respect, one can conclude that we are, indeed, what we think, what we feel, what we imagine, and what we dream. With our thoughts, emotions, feelings, intentions, behaviors, and speech – we make the world, you see?

Quantum Nonlocality (Multiverse), Colliding Bubble Universes - Parallel Universe Wormhole, Holographic Fractal Structure, Infinite Synchronicity - Infinite Quantum Zen
~ ∞ ~
When one entertains the idea of a multiverse, more often than not, the concept of parallel universe comes up. In more ways than one, this concept – as it has been familiarized to the world, is incomplete. Another, more simple way to understand parallel universes is to think in terms of bubbles – everything happens within multitudes of bubbles. So in this sense, parallel universes are like bubbles inside other bubbles – each of these bubbles is a universe in and of itself.

Or to put it other words, like Russian dolls (a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another). And so you see, existence is structured and made up of Interconnected Nested Universes within the Innerverse. To expand this analogy further, one can say that these nested universes thus then form Nested Multiverses. This we can call “Infinite Fractal Multiverse.” Multitude of multiverses coming into being and blossoming new universes that bring forth fruit for Life Eternal, on a Grand Tree of Life, you see?

The existence of life is equally likely in each bubble universe; life can therefore be seen happening simultaneously in each of these bubble universes. If thought to have a form, Life – emphasis on the capital letter, would most definitely assume the form that expresses fluidity and movement, malleability and elusiveness.

In the case of bubble universes, these beautiful fractal-like structures would resemble Nested Apollonian Gasket Fractals in multitude of dimensions; each fractal represents an Interconnected Nested Multiverse within the Innerverse, or just simply a world within a world – see? And because all of these worlds are situated and contained within the Innerverse, we as human beings have an inherent potential to gain access to them.

As human beings, we have been gifted with inherent potential to access a wide variety of abilities and tools – intuition and Inner Knowing being among them; awareness and presence being the keys to these worlds, you see?

Because consciousness and its inherent awareness is the essence of all existence – it gives rise to, and pervades all manifest phenomena. In this context, it means that each bubble universe is created from the consciousness that already exists, and thus multitude of bubble universes within bubble multiverses form an Infinite Fractal Multiverse – The Living Tree of Universes. And so you see, Living Awareness beyond consciousness is what’s keeping not only the individual universe together, but also the larger whole, as well.

As this Living Tree of Universes grows and expands, it is highly probable that our universe might collide with other bubble universes – the collision of one bubble universe with another would result in a birthing of a new universe; this natural dynamic follows an infinite, self-sustaining cycles of birth, growth, and re-birth. Just like reality is not an object or a thing, but rather an active process – a continuum, so is the case with bubble universes – see?

Like mentioned earlier, the most significant revelation in the Quantum World has been thus far, the truth that the observer seems to be creating the reality by the act of observation alone; the act of us looking creates the result of observation, which goes on to say that we are literally creating the universe and the perception of the world as we go.

What is being measured are different levels of potentials (probability) for observation – the object for the measurement is an aware field of information arising from consciousness. And this is where it gets interesting. You see, the universe we occupy exists because we collectively agree that it does, which in this context means Quantum Entanglement of the universe.

Quantum Entanglement acts as a nonlocal bridge – uniting the small and large-scale happenings, which means that the events and objects are not localized to any specific points in space or in time. Now, it is worth mentioning that when we talk about particles being in several places at the same time, we are only scratching the surface.

Another important thing to keep in mind regarding Quantum Entanglement is that the implications go beyond what we can imagine or express. In other words, clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathic and telempathic*1 communication, and other naturally occurring abilities we term “extrasensory perception” or “psychic powers” are just the beginning, you see?
_______
*1 Telempathic is a portmanteau, or combination of two words: telepathic + empathic, which describe the ability to feel others’ emotions. Empaths can perceive information through others emotions and feelings, which allows them to communicate through the same emotion, which may be processed as an energetic vibration through the empath’s body, making them telempathic.

In a more classical way, Quantum Entanglement is best understood as follows: it occurs when a pair of particles remain connected over distance in such a way that actions performed on one particle also have an effect on the other; when two entangled particles are examined, their physical properties correlate.

Quantum Entanglement can also occur with a single particle – a single photon (particle of light), for example, can be split into two particles that are still connected – that connection is called entanglement. The single particle’s wave function spreads over large distances, but the particle itself is never detected in more than one place – when measured (observed), the wave function collapses.

A wave function in Quantum Mechanics describes the quantum state of an isolated system of one or more particles; due to the interconnectedness of everything, there is one wave function containing all the information about the entire system, not a separate wave function for each particle in the system.

As a natural continuation of the previous chapter, where we talked about the Intelligence of Life and its miraculous nature, this chapter will deepen our understanding of the same. In a way, it is both a necessary preliminary exploration of what comes up in the following few chapters, and an appetizer which will give you just enough to ignite the spark of interest, but not too much to overwhelm you with the details – although the following few pages are somewhat rich in detail. In due time, and in due course, the terms, ideas, and concepts that are presented in this chapter will get more context around them as they are discussed more thoroughly in the pages to come.

So now, then, let us start with the following: the universe we find ourselves in, is thought to have a beginning. Likewise, it is also thought that life as we know life to exist, must have a beginning, as well. Everything that exists must therefore have a cause for its existence, and because the universe exists – it too, must have a cause for its existence, doesn’t it?

In the context of existence, when it comes to us human beings, one can draw the conclusion that we exist because we do, and we are here, because we exist. This gets particularly interesting when we expand our discussion to cover both life and death, existence and non-existence; this happens in later sections and chapters – all in due time, as they say. What can be said about it, though, is the following: that which exists cannot ever truly become non-existent, for you see, nothing ultimately ever dies, only changes form – transforms and transcends.

When we account for the fact that life as we know life to exist – is the combination of ever-changing physical and mental energies; and that energy is eternal, just like mass–energy equivalence states – energy equals matter, and matter equals energy – this too, points to the First Cause that set the energy in motion in the first place, doesn’t it? From this, the question arises: Where did that energy come from?

If time and matter came into existence with the so-called “Big Bang,” the power that initiated the universe and set the energy in motion must not be bound by time and space within the universe. Therefore, this First Cause must transcend time and space, for neither existed until it created the universe; since it is timeless, it is eternal, without beginning or end; since it transcends space, it is non-physical, or immaterial; since it can create a universe out of nothing, there must be no limits to its power – it is all-powerful, you see?

Furthermore, if the First Cause is immaterial, timeless, and all-powerful, it cannot have created the universe out of necessity – it must have chosen to do so. This surely suggests that we are not the result of random chance, doesn’t it? All this, then, taken as a whole, can be called Creation. Creation is a symbolic narrative of the beginning of the world as understood in a particular tradition and community – in other words, Creation myths tell us how things began.

Let us explore this further. As cultures, we identify ourselves through the collective dreams we call Creation myths or Cosmogonies; they explain in metaphorical terms our sense of who we are in the context of the world. All cultures have Creation myths that are of central importance for the valuation of the world, for the orientation of humans in the universe, and for the basic patterns of life and culture.

As an example of a Creation story, in Taoist Cosmogony, the Tao (Way) gave birth to Unity; Unity gave birth to Duality; Duality gave birth to Trinity; Trinity gave birth to the myriad creatures. The myriad creatures bear Yin on their back, and embrace Yang in their bosoms. Yin and Yang neutralize each other, and hence the unification brings about dynamic balance.

Thus, the world is a dance of the two opposing, yet harmonious forces in the universe: Yin and Yang, mystery and form. Underlying this ever-fluid dynamic motion, underlying this dance of the two seemingly opposing forces, there is a cosmic order – innate harmony inherent to all life. This cosmic order has a discontinuous character, but what makes it fascinating is that it is structured in such a way that it integrates space and time, matter and form.

At the most fundamental level, this means that atoms are synchronously projected in a very rapid discontinuous succession throughout the universe – like successive frames in a film, you see? In fact, each individual atom is like an independent frame in a holographic cosmic film; it appears as a particle, then it loses its particulate identity in an alternate quantized mode, thus becoming a spatially indeterminate quantum bundle of energy; then it reappears as a particle again, and so on and so forth, you see?

The existence itself is an interplay of these patterns of energy in an ever-fluid relationship. In essence, all life is living and vibrating energy, and therefore we are immersed in an ocean of vibration, in an ocean of frequency, in an ocean of consciousness. The energy that is around and within us flows and moves in constant, ever-changing currents through time and space. We as human beings are calling this timeless play of light and its shadow, simply, “life.”

In other words, the very structure of existence revolves around holographically patterned living fractals, which are a play of light and its shadow – Infinity, reflecting from itself – appearing to itself as a multiplicity of finite worlds, refracting itself into a multiplicity of finite minds.

All this, residing in consciousness, inside which a flame of Living Awareness infinitely flickers. Infinite Living Awareness expressing itself, dancing the Cosmic Dance – a constant cycle of expansion and contraction. In this holographically patterned Infinite Fractal of Creation, everything contains the seeds of everything else – even the smallest particle contains the seeds of the entire universe.
